Brooks Swift Saddle Review
The Brooks Swift combines classic Brooks styling with a more aggressive geometry for the rider that wants a lightweight and more performance oriented saddle. The Brooks Swift has traditionally only been available with titanium rails but Brooks is now offering it with a chrome plated steel framework for those who prefer steel. The steel rails would give more durability to a heavier rider, especially if your weight is over 200lbs.
Classic Brooks styling is included in every Brooks Swift saddle and the hand hammered copper rivets and skived leather cover exemplify the level of detail that goes into every Brooks Swift saddle. If you own one already or whether you go buy one today, please come back and let us know what you think of it by leaving a review of the Brooks Swift Titanium below.

I’ve ridden this saddle for over 7 years (same saddle!). They last forever if you take care of them, which includes avoiding too much water (get a cover for the rain, tightening properly and using the conditioning cream that comes with the saddle.
I can say it is the most comfortable saddle I’ve ever used. It’s great on short and long rides, climbs, descents, rollers and flats. The saddle does take about 400 to 600 miles to really break in.
However, a few words of advice. Get the Brooks model that fits your body and riding type. Many shops will let you try a few, just wrap the rails. B-17 works well for some, Professional and Swift or Swallow for others. If you have your bike re-fitted and the saddle position changes, it will indeed feel different and will have to re-break in. Some have recommended replacing the saddle at that point. Also, the Swift (and I think other models) have a very short fore-aft adjustment room. Much shorter than Selle Italia, Fizik, etc. You may have to invest in a seatpost with some compensating setback. I had to do this after a refit (due to some injuries that resulted from an accident).
If you are concerned about the weight of your bike and count every gram, than other options are out there. This is a relatively heavy saddle.
All in all you can’t go wrong with a Brooks.
Cheers.
