Brooks B17 Saddle

The Brooks B17 is the flagship model from Brooks and they tout it as being "ideal" for long distance and sport type touring rides.  This model of Brooks saddle has been on the market for more than a century and dates back as early as an 1898 catalog. Now THAT's some heritage that you can be proud of.  Brooks saddles have developed an almost cult like following amongst the trekking and distance riding crowd.  You know it has to be good to please this demanding group.

The B17 is available for both men and ladies with the ladies model being the B17 S model and it features slightly different geometry being 7mm wider and 35mm shorter to be more appropriate for the female anatomy.  Small differences but they can make significant difference in the comfort level of the saddle.

Both the B17 and the B17S Standard feature black steel rails, the B17 Special features chrome plated steel metalwork, and the B17 Titanium … Both the B17 Special and the Titanium also feature hand hammered copper rivets.  So pay attention to the specific model of B17 you are buying if rail material or rivet color matters to you.  You don't want to be disappointed in your purchase and we don't want you to be either.

The Brooks B17 comes in Black, Honey, Brown and Green depending on the exact model you purchase.  They are all stunning saddles visually but you want to make sure you get what you are expecting so make sure you read the fine print.
