Brooks Swift Saddles
Brooks bills the Swift as one of the first modern day racing saddles that they have offered. In years past, it was only available with titanium rails, however, demand has been for a lower cost version of the same saddle and Brooks has complied and offers a Swift with the chrome plated steel metalwork. They are constructed similarly otherwise with both versions offering skived sides and hand hammered copper rivets. It's a gorgeous bicycle saddle.
The Swift is more than just a classic leather saddle though, offering a modern twist with sleek titanium rails to keep the weight down as well as a sleek racing heritage inspired design. Now we'll concede that at 392g, it might not be the best choice for a weight weenie, but anyone looking at a Brooks saddle already knows that. Nobody would question that at a 152mm width by 280mm long, it is sure to be considered a more racy type saddle than most in the Brooks line and the chamfered sides only add to the appeal.
The Chrome version has an MSRP of about $170 and the Titanium will set you back about $400 dollars. Check out the deals below and you should save some money.
