The Terry Fly Cromoly Gel seat offers the same seat base and level of padding as the famous and wildly popular original version of the Terry Fly.  Where it differs is in the price, and that is partially due ot the use of a long-lasting, synthetic Lorica cover as opposed to real leather.  The Cromoly also features slightly heavier Cromoly seat rails rather than titanium but to your average rider, not an issue.

The Terry Fly Cromoly Gel seat features a narrow rear for good support of the average man's sit bones and it features the cut away center that is designed to relieve some of the pressure on the perineum (soft tissue between the groin and rear end) making it much more comfortable than many seats with no anatomic cutout.

The Terry Fly Cromoly Gel seat also sports a flat top with multi-density injection molded foam layered with gel that's a bit stiffer in the rear for more power while pedaling and features an integral suspension bridge design for minimal road shock.

Good for girls too!   Review Date: April 5, 2009 Reviewer: H. Day, California I love this saddle. I actually tried the ladies version first, but it was too wide. This one is very comfortable and puts much less pressure on my um girl parts than the seat that came stock on my bike. I have a similar one on my mountain bike, but this is better on the road. It is comfortable both sitting upright and when I am in the drops. I'd definitely recommend it! It does a good job of the relieving the uncomfortable pressure that my cheap generic bike saddle gave me. It also has far better gel padding, so it feels softer also. I think the main features are the cutout in the middle of the saddle and being slightly narrower in the middle than usual. Having a slightly narrower mid section seems to help get rid of the sore hip problems as well. The only downside really is the cost, but it does seem like it is really well made and works well. I could probably find a cheaper seat with a similar cutout, but I'm not sure about the good gel padding and the rest.
