Terry Liberator Mens Saddle Review

The Terry Liberator is one of the earliest models from Terry and is their most beloved race saddle in the line up. The Terry Liberator is targeted at long distance riders, trekkers, eco challenge type riders and the recent addition of gel to the saddle will only make it even better than it ever was.

The Terry Liberator features the signature Terry cutaway center section that makes for a flexible and comfortable type saddle that does not induce undue pressure against your soft tissues, definitely a good thing on long rides. The seating surface is slightly raised in the rear to angle the body better to produce powerful strokes and maximum power. The geometry of the saddle is slightly race oriented but is designed for both racing and comfort.

The Terry Liberator is available in one color, so hopefully you like black - most people do as it's sexy. Wow what a difference.   Review Date: December 2, 2009 Reviewer: David L. Andrews, Kearny, NJ I put this on my mountain bike. I'm a somewhat larger person and the stock seat was killing me. This seat is so comfortable I can easily do 15 - 40 miles a day without sore saddle butt. No numbness either. I know that Brooks saddles are considered the most comfortable, but they are also pricey. This thing is just wonderful for the price. It's not too soft (soft saddles create sore spots after about 10 miles) but also not rock hard. Just enough padding to make things comfortable. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a comfortable saddle for longer distances and not just a short ride.
